How to sign up for your trip in four easy steps: 

1. Look at the Schedule & Prices page and choose your trip. 

2. Please read the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of this page. 

3. Email Tim Shelmerdine ( with the following information for each passenger:

Name of each passenger for whom you will be paying
Mailing address
Phone number

4. If paying by check (preferred), send payment to our secure address:

While checks are preferred, options also exist for Venmo or Paypal. Fees will apply for all PayPal transactions. It is recommended that you ask Tim to bill you through your email address.  
Credit cards not accepted.

Keep track of trip updates on our blog. You can expect an email from us 5-7 days before your trip. 
Most communication about trip status and updates will be electronic via the blog and email.
It is highly recommended you read the preparation pages, which include the cancellation policies, before sending in registration and payment. 

Oregon Pelagic Tours will do its best to run every trip on the schedule. Please understand, however, that occasionally there may not be sufficient interest to justify running a trip. Oregon Pelagic Tours will make every effort to notify registered participants as early as possible if this occurs. Poor weather or ocean conditions can also force a cancellation any time of year.  In cases of cancellation, Oregon Pelagic Tours cannot be held responsible for travel and other costs incurred by participants.

Terms & Conditions: Sending a payment implies acceptance of these terms and conditions, so please do not make a payment before reading them. Reservations are made on a first-paid, first-reserved basis. Send a personal check, payable to Oregon Pelagic Tours, for the full trip amount, along with names of each participant for which you are sending payment. Please enclose a separate check for each trip date. Oregon Pelagic Tours accepts payments through VENMO (extra charges may apply). We  can also bill passengers through PAYPAL, however a small additional charge per person will be added to PAYPAL bills. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO PROCESS CREDIT CARDS and apologize for the inconvenience.  Cancellations in writing for a refund are allowed up to 21 days before the trip, less a $10 per person cancellation fee. No refunds within 21 days of the trip. No refunds if you miss the boat or decide not to go at the last minute. If the trip cancels due to weather or insufficient signup, you will receive a full refund. Liability: The charter is fully certified and insured. Oregon Pelagic Tours. and its guides, and any other entities engaged in promoting or endorsing these trips, including the American Birding Association and Portland Audubon Society, act only as an agent for the carrier of these trips and cannot be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, lost, stolen, or damaged articles, seasickness, or other misfortune resulting from participation on these trips.
